Little Tikes swing sets are something you associate with outdoor play whereas playing with action figures is popular no matter what the weather is for indoor or outdoor play. Unlike swing sets action figures if played with outdoors are a little more easily misplaced and lost.

Action figures for years have been one of those toys that are loved by children. Popular fictional characters quite often from popular movies are usually available in action figures. Presently the popular Lord of the Rings movies have inspired a wonderful selection of action figures to include; scary Gollum, hero Aragorn complete with arrow, horses, Treebeard the walking tree, Lady Arwen, hobbits (Bilbo, Frodo and Samwise), Gandalf the Grey wizard, Orc warriors, elf Legolas and fairy Galadriel to name only a few.
What these action figures inspire is independent play, imaginative play, cooperative play, motor skills, cognitive thinking and language. These action figures provide hours of play for any child. Imagination is a very important skill to be encouraged in children.
Of course because action figures can be played with indoors or outdoors, rainy days are perfect for action figure days, whereas once the sun appears encourage your child to get out to the park and back on the swing sets as they can never get too much fresh air.
