Baby Mozart

Following in the footsteps of its award-winning predecessor, Baby Einstein, this volume is based on research that shows a strong relationship between listening to Mozart's music and the development of spatial intelligence and certain cognitive skills. Spatial intelligence is associated with advanced ability in mathematics, science, the performing arts, and chess.

Little eyes will light up at the images of brightly colored toys and visually captivating objects, while little ears will love the charmingly arranged music of Mozart. This "video board book" is not only a playful, imaginative introduction to the music of Mozart, it is a rich source of stimulation for the growth and development of your baby's brain.

I give it to all new parents. Most baby videos have annoying music and sounds on them but imagine yourself sitting down to dinner with mozart playing and the baby entertained completely. My son is almost 2 and he still loves it!

... I said to myself. This video is amazing!!! It helped my 3 year old girl. She saw the video started playing with her big sister's piano and before I knew it she actually played!! She started playing really mixed-up "songs". And in 2 weeks she could play anything. I put her in piano classes and got 1st prize in a contest and her 1st concert. So... WOW! I say! THANKS, Baby Mozart!!!

I wondered how my son who is 6 weeks would react to this tape. I got oohs and aahs and some squeals. We watch it together or he can swing and watch it for 30 minutes alone, giving me a chance to do something. The video is not much to see for an adult but for a baby, its perfect. The music and toys on screen are colorful and simple.

Another winner for the Baby Einstein Co.!!! From 10 week to (now) 9mos., My son just loves this one!! No matter if he's playing or fussing, as soon as my son hears Julie Clark's voice in the intro, he stops, stares at the TV & gets happy & excited!! The music is stimulating & the visuals are attention grabbing, entertaining & educational! I couldn't imagine living without these videos (Baby Einstein & Bach too!). I'm so excited about the Baby Santa video we're getting him for Christmas! Another Must have item for any baby!!

My One year old still bounces up and down, and still stops my four year old, in his tracks! Even I don't mind hearing it over and over again.

    Dinner in peace!
We received this as a gift before the baby was born and, I have to say, I was a doubter. We started playing it for the baby at about two months and she loved it. Now, almost a year later we still slip it in during dinner time -- she has never tired of it. She enjoys her show while her dad and I can eat in peace. And, it's good background music for the adults too.

My daughter Megan is one year old and has absolutely loved this video (and Baby Bach, but NOT Baby Einstein) since she was first introduced to it around 4 months. She is almost in a trance when she watches it, but I don't think it is an unhealthy trance (she rarely see's the tv, and when she does she isn't very interested). As explained in the video, if the parent's watch it with their baby once in a while and explain what the images are (candles, teddy bear, dolphin, train, etc.), it is a much more effective learning tool. I also highly recommend this video to any parent in need of a 1/2 hour break once in a while! HOWEVER...I do know a baby the same age as Megan who cannot sit through 2 minutes of these or any videos, nor can she sit through more that 2 pages of any baby book! If you know someone that has it, try it out first before you buy your own.

I absolutely 100% recommend this video!
My son was absolutely transfixed by this video starting at only 9 weeks old! He actually laughs when he sees some of his favorite characters and visuals reappear on the screen before him. I also recommend the Baby Bach video, which I play in succession with the Baby Mozart video. My son enjoys them for a full hour (or just about) and is completely entertained!

I've always been skeptical of videos for children, as they seem to get shoved beneath a couch. This series (particularly this Mozart title) keeps my girlfriend's baby, Craig, fascinated for hours. He's 7 months old right now, and he sits and watches while I play the tape and rewind it to view again and again. Being a club/rave DJ, I personally enjoy watching the mesmerizing coloured candles after the intro, and the blue tornado bubbles in water. Just wait, the music score and visuals will keep you and your child in your seats for hours! OH! HE LOVES TO PLAY WITH THE BOX, ALSO! It has a fold open flap with details, and he likes to flip it open and shut. Odd, but true. GET THIS VIDEO!!!

All I can say is WOW!
I live in Europe where generally things like this are not used to stimulate babies. Everyone I knew told me this was not something that my baby would watch (along with my non-American husband)! When it came in the mail and I put it on for my baby to watch even I didn't think that it would have the effect on her that it did - completely absorbed in what she is watching. Amazing - now I lend it to everyone I know who has a baby - I've even had to order a second copy because no one wants to give it back!!!

My little boy absolutely LOVES this video, it has so many colorful objects and it holds his attention. I debated for a while about him watching "TV" but after seeing him smile and laugh at the video I know I made a great choice!

This is by far the best "toy" we own. My twins started watching it at about 3 months, and are still in love with it. I've seen it probably 50 times and never get tired of it. It's great for winding down after bathtime and before bedtime.

Don't even hesitate...! Buy this video for yourself if you have an infant or someone you know who has an infant. We, too, do not want our son to watch TV, but this 30-minute video is a must as a once-in-awhile treat as it stimulates, amuses and intrigues your baby. Baby Einstein is also very good!

    An essential for working mothers.
I don't believe that my kids need to grow up to be Einsteins, I am not even convinced that this video would contribute to that goal anyway, but I have to tell you that it has a wonderful effect on very young children. My youngest (I had two under the age of two) was enthralled by it from when she was less than 10 weeks old. On these nights when you just can't seem to get them to be independent enough for you to get diner cooked, this is ideal. I love watching it too, and Mozart has a soothing effect on us all. From the kitchen I can "ooh" and "ah" along with the kids, we shout out the names of the animals and go through the colors together - and I can get something else done too. A rare opportunity to ahve the kids be low maintenance without feeling guilty.

As much a necessity as diapers and formula. Can't imagine what I would have done without it. Fascinated my infant for months!

My Grace is only 4 months old, but I'm concerned with forming good habits now- for both her and me- in terms of what to do in our leisure time. I'm not a big proponent of T.V., but this Mozart video- the whole series really- has a great purpose behind it
